Please help me to evaluate my offers! Am I being stupid?
By: SOMMER3333 | 27-07-2007
Hi, I got an offer to work 6 months for a staffing company names RANDSTAD.Now the positive thing is that the billing company I will be work for has a good reputation and it is minimum commute. The down side is I've heard horrible experience with staffing company like they will treat you bad after you sign the contract, higher tax at the year end and the billing company will used temps like a work machine, or you will have difficulty being integrated with the permanent workers there. This is not my only option and I also have 2 other offers from big companies, permanent position, but 1h commute. Compensation and job functions are almost the same. I know people will find choice 2 much better, but I hate driving, appreciate the 2 hours I can save for my personal life everyday and I don't have difficulty to find another permanent job after the temp is over. However, if these stories about staffing, temp jobs are true, I will definitely drive 2hs everyday to get my bread. I really need your expert opinion!!!Thanks so much!!

The influence and importance of the IT sector feeds into other industries such as the finance and telecommunications sectors. Moreover, there is simply an abundance of job opportunities for IT professionals who have the skills and experience which employers require. Even though the IT boom of the 1990s may have now subsided to an extent; through out the economy, there is still a high demand for fully qualified IT experts.
