If there was a way that I could choose to one day work my dream job, I would take the opportunity in a heartbeat. According to StudentScholarships.org, many people wish of one day performing tasks that they enjoy. While some reach their goals of succeeding in a field of work that they like, others never see those moments. Whether it be that they did not work hard enough to achieve their goals or their life just took an unexpected turn, I am sure that they wonder about what might have been.
My ultimate dream job is to be a Hollywood actress. Ever since I was a small child, I have been fascinated with the fact that people are able to show their faces on a television screen and earn money for it. Every time I would watch a movie or a television show, I would always act out a scene I remembered from it after it had finished. When I would take the time to show my family and friends my acting, they would tell me that I was wonderful. Of course that is what happens when you are younger. Everyone tries to make you feel good.
As I got older, acting still consumed me. I loved participating in plays at school and church and I never missed an opportunity to amuse an audience. If you were to ask anyone who knows me, they would tell you that I am a born entertainer and that the world is my stage. I am never afraid of a crowd and I always make myself comfortable around groups of people. I recently participated in my school's Shakespeare Festival and loved it. Every night we had an awesome audience. After the festival, many people came up to me and told me that I did an excellent job. There were quite a few people that told me that I should be an actress. When I heard that, I knew even more that I loved acting. It is a great comfort to love something and have others tell you that you do well in it. One actor that I worked with in the festival told me that I was one of the best he had ever seen. I admire him because he is a very good actor and his opinion means a lot to me.
Acting to me has always been a type of release for me. I love to write to express my feelings and it serves as a form of therapy for me, but acting is a way to show so much emotion without anyone realizing that it may actually be real. Again, acting is just one of those things that has always interested me and every time I take part in it, I get positive feedback.
To be a Hollywood actress would be the most wonderful experience of my life. Of course it would take a lot of hard work to make it happen, but I am willing to do anything. Acting is definitely my dream job and I know that if I were to become an actress, I would enjoy it thoroughly.
