Want to know more about Taiwan English schools? The English learning market is extremely large and ever growing in Taiwan. The English learning market is extremely large in most parts of Asia. Language schools can be found throughout Taiwan in almost every city offering English classes that hire foreign teachers to teach their classes. Taiwan enjoy a wide variety of language schools offering classes for a varying age of students, however, cram schools are the most common kind which cater to the needs of parents wanting to send their children to learn English.

Children make up the majority of people wanting to learn English and this is why cram schools are the most predominant. Most of the children at cram schools range anywhere from six to twelve years of age. A foreign teacher is usually the main teacher in these classes and a local Taiwanese teacher is usually also there to help in class with translations. The class work is usually very simple and typically run for about two hours.

The majority of these English language schools are chain schools. Chain schools are much like a fast food restaurant. They all use the same name, material taught and books used are identical and the cost to send children to them is the same. Teaching at chain schools usually involves following clearly defined steps for each class.

You are bound to find a wide variety of different language schools in Taiwan, however, most of them are called chain schools. Children make up the bulk of the classes found at these schools, a clear and laid out teaching model is used and classes typically last for two hours. Taiwan English schools are found all throughout Taiwan.
