The Success Equation

Posted: Feb 18, 2010 |Comments: 0 |

In my first post, I wrote about the two thieves of career dreams: increasing competition and decreasing employment opportunities. Now, I want to arm you with the ammunition to fight back and secure the career you've been trained for, the career you so ardently want – and the salary you wish to earn.  What you are about to read might shock you:

THERE IS A MAGIC BULLET FOR CAREER SUCCESS.

You see, achieving your career dreams is not an impossible feat. In fact, a proven formula exists – one that virtually guarantees career success.  Before I share it with you, a warning:

BE CAREFUL!

Do not make the mistake of dismissing this knowledge as a simple suggestion, cliché, or random idea.  If you do, the importance of these elements as bedrock principles will be lost.  Now that you’ve been warned, let’s get to it.  Here is the magic bullet for career success:

The right knowledge + the right professional connection = Career success

The right knowledge and the right professional connection will turn your career dream into reality.  It’s that simple.

BUT BE CAREFUL!

Like most “simple ideas,” there is a wealth of insight buried within this statement.  And over the next couple of months, I will be unearthing this insight and sharing it with you. Thanks for reading and please take a moment to join the conversation. Shameless plug:  Do you have the right knowledge but lack the right professional connection?  Do you have the right network, but need the right knowledge?  Still working on both?  TAG was created to solve the success equation for you.  Click here to learn more.
