Online business systems work for some people, but for others, they don't. The type of business that you want, the type of money you're looking to make and the amount of time that you have are all variables that are important when seeking to either operate or participate in an online business system.
Is it a Scam?
The popular online business system today is said to be a scam. Researchers say it's because the marketing practice that hides the actual product without giving information upfront is scandalous.
Companies that give upfront business information, explain what payments are for and provide timelines and timeframes instill a level of comfort in the hearts and minds of the consumer or investor, thereby sending a message right off the top that business is legitimate. Businesses with this model leave little room for information to "pop up" and uncertainty to reside in the minds of those with whom they do business.
What Happened?
What has happened is some have been lured into this current business practice by paying a "start up" fee, receiving a promise to hear back from a coach or other business professional and little to no information in reference to business. Later, they are coaxed into paying additional monies for additional products. And when it seems the start up fee doesn't pay off, business coaches don't return calls and information received is ambiguous, it leaves the investor to conclude that the venture is a waste of time and money and, therefore, a scam.
The Truth
The truth of the matter is, within the product line there are various other products to sell, hence the name of this type of marketing-- online business system. The company however, doesn't divulge this information initially, and the selling of additional products is an attempt to get the main business off the ground.
Any combination of companies can operate as an online business system whether you're participating in a previously set up system or whether you create one of your very own.
However, getting into a business system on a whim or promise is not a smart idea to begin with. If you're going to invest in something, make sure that you understand what you're investing in, why, with whom, for how long, etc.; otherwise, you set yourself up for either disaster, failure, or both.
That's why with the current online business system consumers and/or investors began to complain, alleging that the system didn't do what they were told it would and that the package didn't contain useful enough information. Never mind the fact that they weren't well educated about it on their own, and they viewed it more from an employee perspective than employer perspective; thus, perspective along with a few other issues, could make all the difference in the world.
