This person has to responsible for the main deck who is normally experienced in driller. (2) Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) often performs his way up through the drill crew ranks. He is in overall charge of the rig sometimes called "Man In Charge" (MIC). (3) Company man/woman is the employee representative of oil companies on board.
