Plumbers are very hard to define. But still we can wrap in words as "Work which can be very well associated with water provision and pipe work, installation of gas & drainage." It is a technical definition but in simple words it may be defined as "A person who cleans the society by putting his hand in dirt". Plumber is a person who has to be a very hard working guy. He is normally concerned with clean drinking water, heating system, sanitation etc.
It takes time to become a good plumber, i.e., he has to spend more time for his career to be successful. There are many areas where a plumber works like "wet only plumber" & in "Gas Industries". In the first type work is done in homes such as fitting bathroom, sprinkler system. Second type is very sensitive. To work in a gas industry one has to first achieve Council of Registered Gas Installer Certificate. Some plumbers normally work in domestic areas such as leaky taps & blocked sinks etc. Normally whatever field a plumber chooses the basic thing he must know is Water Regulations & Building Regulation.
Becoming a plumber is not an easy job. It is physically hard working job. So before entering in this profession one must be physically fit to work in conditions such as small areas & cramped and dirty spaces etc. one should also have a sound judgment and creative mind.
There are many plumber training courses available. They train students for becoming a good professional plumber. In plumbing courses, stress is given on mathematics & science to check the mental ability of the student. The companies which offer this plumber training course check whether the student is capable of understanding this course. Before admitting any student, selection tests are carried out since plumber training courses are gaining popularity.
These courses teach students about how to work with basics tools as well as how to handle new technology tools. So, for becoming a plumber one must be a very sharp learner. Plumber training courses not only gives theoretical knowledge but also offers practical experience as only theoretical knowledge is of no use. In practical session students are given practical problems to solve. One can also work under the guidance of senior plumbers to know more about practical technical problems faced by a plumber. In plumber training there are interactive sessions too.
After completion of a Plumbing Course one can get job in a company or some may start their own firm. If a person is settled in this field there is a lot of scope to earn. There are some plumbers in UK with an annual income of more than a million.
