2006 Sema Show Meets 3 New Volvo C30

Volvo Car Corp. brings the 3-door C30 to the higher level as it unveils 3 of its version in this year's Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Motor Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. After its global launch at the 2006 Paris Motor Show, Volvo unleashed these 3 C30 versions to bring out aficionado's definitive expressions of free will driving. The three new C30 cars include Evolve Cars, Heico Sportiv and Burton Snowboards, and ipd.

"The C30 represents Volvo's most appealing offer to the young people who love to customize and personalize their rides," says Hans Krondahl, Executive Vice President, Marketing, for Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA). "These three cars will definitely spark a lot of interest in the C30 and there is no better place to show them off than the SEMA show."

C30 is a compact car that is inspired by 3 Volvo vehicles S40, V50 and C70. This is the reason why C30 is powerful, agile and flexible. Volvo car parts are meticulously chosen to boost the car's overall charisma. Enhanced Volvo S40 performance parts combined with Volvo C70 new parts made the vehicle more promising.

Volvo's concepts seem to be overflowing. Consequently, it has entertained its wild imaginations to come up with 3 strikingly amazing C30s. Evolve C30 is a version of a street performer and track celebrity. Refined race-inspired suspension, gigantic brakes, twin turbos, sophisticated heat exchanger, advanced exhaust plumbing and blaring yellow gloss paint over untamed bodylines highlight the Evolve C30. It imbibes motorsports technology right through it. Moreover, its eye-popping performance is designed to awestruck car fanatics.

The Heico Sportiv/Burton Snowboard C30 is created through the efforts of the automaker and Heico Sportiv and Burton Snowboards. The car is designed to cater to the lifestyle of active individuals. It is given head-turning features like custom cut Toyo tires, height adjustable suspension, and a stunning six layer camouflage paint job. This car version is equipped with portable GPS system, 2008 Burton snowboards and boots.

The ipd version is given high tech style. The colors of Swedish flag are swathed all over the car's exterior. It is given custom fabricated interior, touch screen in the floating center stack, and functioning gull-wing style doors. Said version produces 384 horsepower.
