3000 Miles – Gumball 3000 DVD Special Offer

The cast of the movie includes, Tony Hawk – the famous professional skateboarder, Bam Margera – again a professional skateboarder made famous by MTV Jackass, Ryan Dunn – a reality TV personality made famous by MTV Jackass, Mike Vallely – Element Skate team member, and Mike Escamilla – a professional BMX rider, among other celebrities and socialites. The music is composed by Rosbury and the credit for cinematography goes to Ryan Young and Jared Prindle. With Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn starring in the movie, you get to see total MTV Jackass ‘effects’.

Gumball 3000 miles has no storyline as such, but it takes you on a high-speed journey of exotic locales around the world, in some of the costliest vehicles available, in the company of rich and famous and lots of girls. The journey also involves lots of crashes, police chasing the over-speeding vehicles, and all other stuff that makes Gumball 3000 miles rally infamous.

For those who are not aware of the Gumball 3000 rally, here is a brief introduction. It is a 3000 miles car rally that started in 1999. Since then it is held every year in different cities. The route is 3000 miles long on actual roads with 120 cars participating from across the world. The cars are normally super cars, with some exceptions and the participants are celebrities, without exceptions. This rally has become infamous due to incidents of reckless driving, over speeding, and accidents.

This year, the rally covered the route from Los Angeles to Miami. Some of the celebrities that participated in 2009 were Chris Pontius – from MTV Jackass, David Hasselhoff – American actor and singer of Knight Rider and Baywatch fame, Dennis Rodman – retired professional basketball player from NBA, Gretchen Rossi – one of the housewives at The Real Housewives of Orange County, Jimmy Jean-Louis – Heroes fame, Loomis Fall – the drummer of the punk band Wax, DJ Muggs – from the group Cypress Hill, Danny Kass – the American professional snowboarder, Tony Hawk, and Tom Clarke – the lead singer of The Enemy.

The next Gumball 3000 rally event is scheduled for May 1, 2010. It will cover the route between London and New York.
