A guide to buying a used Peugeot 107

Article on buying a used Peugeot 107.

If you are looking for a cheap used car, then the Peugeot 107 is certainly an option. It is great if you do lots of short trips around town. If you are travelling further, the 107 could actually surprise you…for a small city car it certainly can keep its own on the motorway. Lyndsey, our eSales Executive gives a review of her Peugeot 107 she. By all account she loves it, but have a read over her comments – especially if you too are thinking about buying a used Peugeot 107.

Lyndseys Report: With cheap road tax, fantastic fuel economy, and one of the lowest car insurance group ratings of any other car on the road, I expected the Peugeot 107 to be geared towards the younger, newer drivers in the used car market, so it came to somewhat of a surprise to me when I was handed the keys to a used Peugeot 107 at Budgen motors, that this wasn't the case!

My first impressions were that this is so much more than a cheap city car, with a powerful little 1.0 litre petrol engine that propels the car along more than comfortably, whilst returning in excess of 60.0 mpg, with only 106g/km emissions, making it low cost to run and tax.

I had been looking for a used car online for some time, and the little used Peugeot 107 was first on my list of the many used cars available to buy online. One of the main reasons that I purchased my Peugeot from Budgen motors, out of all the used car dealerships in my area was their excellent website, and their high standard customer service, which seems to be lacking in many used car dealerships these days!

I found the small car surprisingly roomy and great fun to drive, and very easy to park as it has a great turning circle, and I also soon found that I wasn't afraid to park in busy areas in front of people, where normally I perhaps wouldn't even try and park!

The Peugeot 107 was exactly what I was looking for in a used car. With many other small city cars available, it seems that it is placed in a very competitive market, with the Citroen C1 and the Toyota Aygo to name but a few in the same range, and with alloy wheels, air conditioning, electric windows and a funky little mounted rev counter on the dash I felt that this little car came well equipped, and with the added bonus of being available in 3 or 5 doors (I choose the 5 door version).

Although this little Peugeot 107 is placed in the city car market, I felt that it had no problem on the longer journeys and especially on the motorways, where I found it surprisingly quiet, and even as a passenger in the back seats I found that it was sufficiently comfortable.

So, if you are in the market and looking for a small used car online then I would highly recommend you look for a super cool little used Peugeot 107!
