Toyota Fine-T

Toyota Fine-T is a concept car that made its first debut at the 2006 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. The car is designed with a hydrogen fuel cell and a new alloy catalyst that reduces the amount of precious metal required.

The hybrid power unit of the car is positioned under the floor to increase cabin space and deliver a lower centre of gravity. The small electric motor distributes power to all four wheels to make it an all wheel drive system. This type drive system helps improve handling and manoeuvrability. Citroen Hypnos

Citroen Hypnos is a strange crossover concept first introduced at 2008 Paris Auto Show. Equipped with the HYmotion4 diesel hybrid drivetrain the car spells outstanding performance. A diesel engine powers the front wheels and an electric motor drives the rear axles that in turn improves performance, traction, and mileage.

The exterior of the concept car is creatively designed with sleek flowing lines, deep radiant grey bodywork, and impressive adornments. The prestigious interior has brushed aluminium accents, body-hugging seats, and functional technologies. The car's interior is accentuated with a rainbow of vibrant colours. Packed with elegance and beauty, the interior cabin exudes warmth and elegance.

Saturn Flextreme

Saturn Flextreme is an innovative concept designed by General Motors. The concept was first introduced at the 2008 North American International Auto Show.

Designed by a collaboration of Saturn and GM’s European Opel brand, this plug-in concept is driven by a 1.3-litre turbocharged diesel engine and a lithium-ion battery pack. The exterior is elegantly designed with aerodynamic structure, flowing lines, and attractive exterior adornments. The FlexDoor system enables convenient opening of the front door and reverse opening of the rear doors. This intelligent feature in the car makes the car a winning concept. Other key characteristics of the concept are sideview cameras, LED headlamps, a panoramic windshield, polycarbonate windows, and butterfly-style rear doors.

Honda OSM

Honda OSM (Open Study Model) is a low-emission, lightweight sports concept that made its first debut at the 2008 British Motor Show. Honda OSM is deigned by Honda's R&D facility in Ooffenbach, Germany. The design of the OSM concept is purely based on the concept of 'Clean and Dynamics'. These two concepts together create a strong bonding between the exterior and the interior of the car.

The smooth rounded curves, sharp lines, angular headlamps, sloping rear end, narrow rear lights, and stylish wheel arches enhance the visual appeal of the concept car. The car's interior is also packed with a host of exciting features including a broken instrumentation to ensure easy readability of information to the driver.

Ambierod

Ambierod is an inspiring concept car that made its first debut at the 2008 Auto Expo in New Delhi. Designed by Dilip Chhabria (DC), the car is packed with loads of excitement in with respect to style and technology. It is believed that the DC's Ambierod is the most expensive concept car ever showcased in the auto show.

The retro-futuristic cars possess host of technologies in the car's interior including automated instrumentation, satellite navigation system, rear vision camera, three LCD television, and multi-coloured mood lighting. If the car goes into production it will be introduced bearing a price tag of Rs 4 Crore.
