By converting Consumer Union's reliability ratings of "Much Better than Average," "Better than Average," "Average," "Worse than Average," and "Much Worse than Average" to grade points 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0, respectively, for each model year of each coupe and 2-door hatchback providing the necessary data, a 2010 Reliability Grade Point Average may be obtained for age ranges 0-to-4 years, 2-to-6 years, 4-to-8 years, and 6-to-10 years. These Reliability GPAs provide a multi-year reliability summary for each 2-door hardtop with sufficient data.
