DVLA Bans Some Number Plates From Consumers

With more number plates held back or banned from being sold.
During the year, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) will be holding six auctions, but once again, not all number plate combinations will be available to the consumer. There are thousands of combinations of names and words to be made up using the 2011 style number plate design. But the DVLA have already put the brakes on some numbers by banning certain combinations before they could be issued; BU11 ETS, CA11 GRL, AK11 LER, FI11 THY, BA11 SUP, BA11 BAG, PR11 CKS, CR11 MES, FE11 ONY, PS11 CHO, VU11 GAR and of course DR11 NKS.
