How to Make Your Vehicle Dish Out Whatever You Throw at it

As we get older, time becomes more and more precious. Between having a career, a family, kids, and stacks of bills to pay, it becomes hard to find the time to dedicate towards our passions in life; surfing, snowboarding, skiing, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, 4-wheeling, off-roading, dirt biking…this list can go on and on. One of the hardest things about living an active lifestyle is cleaning up your toys and your vehicle. So why no reduce the amount of work you have to do by protecting your vehicle’s interior, which should also help improve the resale value when it comes time to sell it.

Floor mats, cargo liners, and truck bed liners will protect your carpet, cargo area, and truck bed from dirt, sand, grime, grease, dents, dings, scratches and tears. They make your car a breeze to clean up and keep it looking new for years after you bought it. Keep reading to get the full scoop.

Floor mats are extremely useful for keeping your carpets looking and smelling new. You can get all-weather floor mats, which are typically made of a flexible rubber that can catch dirt, snow, water, and anything else your feet/shoes/boots might bring in with you from the great outdoors. The front floor mats are available in a pair while the rears are usually available in pairs, but sometimes also available in a one piece floor mat that covers the entire rear floor. This way you can get maximum coverage for your vehicle floor. They are also easy to clean as they can be removed from the vehicle and hosed off. You can also get regular floor mats made from a variety of materials; nylon, plush carpet, and even Berber carpet. Also available are stylized floor mats which are usually more durably constructed than the stock floor mats and can also give you a way to express your style by getting patterned mats. For example, you can get floor mats woven from coconut bark or sisal plants, which can give an earthier feel to your interior while being ultra durable.

Cargo liners are perfect for the outdoor enthusiast who always has to have his gear with him. From your mountain bike to your surf board, cargo liners will help protect your interior from all-things-outdoors. Available in carpeted and all-weather rubber styles, cargo liners are perfect for keeping your groceries from sliding around or for keeping the snow from seeping into your interior.

Truck bed liners are similar to cargo liners, but are made from much more durable materials to ensure that whatever you throw in your truck bed, the paint and metal is safe. What’s more, the carpeted truck bed liners will also provide a little cushion to your gear if it bangs around in the truck bed. Available in cut-to-fit and spray on applications, truck bed liners are a must for those who put their truck to the test.
