Tata Nano is said to be cheapest car in the world, a friendly car that contains four seats and only cost about $2500. This car was revealed in India in 2008 and was created to change the way people travel in rural areas. It has about the half of the price of cheapest cars on the market, Tata Nano made it possible for the people who could not previously afford a car to purchase one. The head of Tata motors, Ratan Tata, came up with an idea to create a peoples car back in 2002. He then gathered group of engineers and gave them three conditions for the nonexistent car. Those requirements were that it should follow regulatory requirements, have high acceleration and be low priced and extremely fuel efficient. In this way they came up with the present Tata Nano. There are many benefits associated with Tata Nano. It is very fuel efficient (lower pollution level), low cost and environmentally friendly with less carbon footprint. Also, this car is comparatively airy and easily adjusts four passengers. The car has head room and ample leg space. In addition, its width of 1.5 meters and length of 4 meters helps it to blend maneuverability and travel well in rural and urban areas.
Tato Nano is still available for purchase in India. Although, there are plans to start it in many other countries all over the world. Within a time of 4 years, this car is going to be introduced in auto markets of Latin America, Southeast Asia and Africa. There have been many questions regarding security of this car. India alone considered as 8 percent of world crash fatalities, and many think that millions of Nano on roads will only raise the occurrence of car accidents. This car lacks the facility of airbag and braking systems, which would not even let it get approval in many countries such as United Kingdom. However, the installation of these features would increase the price of vehicle. There are three types of Tata Nano available in India. They are deluxe, standard and luxury. The standard car does not include air conditioner, however luxury and deluxe do. The luxury Nano comes with additional features such as alloy wheels, fog lamps and ICE. This car comes in many colors, including yellow, red and silver.
You can also purchase a second hand Tata Nano but it is easily affordable to everyone, so it's better to get new one. This car has been recognized as people's car. The difference in rates as compared to other cars is very wide and this looks to be quite encouraging for car manufacturer. Good things usually come in small packages and this is typified by Tata Nano. The fleet of these cars is definitely going to be increase. This car has the price of 1 lakh rupees without AC while one equipped with Air conditioner will cost about 1.4 lakh rupees. Most of the Indian families prefer using this car rather than a two wheeler.
