The Cee'd is available in 4 engine variants, the two petrol versions are an 89bhp 1.4 litre and a 124bhp 1.6 litre. In the diesel line up there is the 89bhp 1.6 litre and the 114bhp 1.6 litre. The 1.6 litre petrol is not as fast as you would think; the 1.4 litre is quite smooth and adequate enough to move the Cee'd along at a brisk pace.
The Cee'd is in direct competition with the Ford Focus, VW Golf and Audi A3 and although it may not be as fun to drive as these three the Cee'd is light and easy to drive especially with its sure footed cornering abilities.
