Pugi Hyundai says brand is earning its spot atop the auto industry

With the relative disorder of the auto industry as of late, it's hard to award a single brand the honor of the throne atop the industry. Let's take a look at an abbreviated timeline, courtesy of your Pugi Hyundai dealer. First, we'll start off with the release of the Prius, a car that set the tone for the massive adoption of the hybrid engine and the general movement towards better fuel technology in the industry. Fast forward a couple of years to the beginning of the recession and the fall of the Big Three, an event that Downers Grove Hyundai Santa Fe dealers watched from the wings. The subsequent government intervention was pretty scary for automakers across the industry and a stark warning of what can happen when you take part in negligent business.

But the recession wasn't done with the auto industry yet. Yes, it seemed the economic woes of America were taking on a monstrous shape all their own, and while Pugi Hyundai dealers were certainly affected, there were other manufacturers in the mix that got hit much harder. Sales were suddenly dropping like rocks into the turmoil of the U.S. economy, and the market outlook was looking grim. One of the final blows we've seen so far was the recent recalls by Toyota, who was poised to really take the industry to the next level. The recalls, which resulted in some serious problems and even deaths, put a permanent back mark on the soul of the Japanese manufacturer. Again, Downers Grove Hyundai Santa Fe dealers sat by and watched the mayhem as it unfolded.

Now, Toyota doesn't seem to have taken much of a hit, and it looks like Honda will be the manufacturer going down the tubes. But, there's good news for Pugi Hyundai dealers, who upped their U.S. market share by a solid .2 percentage points – not a lot to the casual observer, but enough to solidify the fact that Hyundai is continuing to forge ahead in the continually changing landscape of the automotive market. Unfortunately, we aren't able to say the same for the fledgling Honda. It appears that the once great Japanese manufacturer has been cut deep by the failing of the market, with a .4 percent drop in the company's market share. Downers Grove Hyundai Santa Fe dealers are breathing a sigh of relief as they watch from the sidelines and continue to grow their market share.

Honda's decline has been a result of the rapidly deteriorating quality of the manufacturer's products. At a time when automakers seem to be moving forward, Honda seems to be putting half thought out products on the market. The market is beginning to get excruciatingly competitive, so it's important that automakers do their best to stay in the running. I'm excited to find out who will reach zero emissions first and how that entire scene will play out. To me, it seems like whoever reaches that plateau will earn a spot atop the pack in the automotive industry.
