“The Lions Club is one of the world’s great charitable organizations, not only for their contributions to research for the treatment of preventable blindness, but relief efforts for natural disasters, scholarships for local students and so much more. By donating the Corvette for the Plymouth Lions Club’s raffle, we’re doing our small part to continue the vital contributions they make to our community and throughout the world,” said Jeff Tracy, president of Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac.
Tickets for the Corvette raffle will go on sale at a special kickoff party to be held at Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac, 137 Samoset Street, in Plymouth on Saturday, December 15 from noon to 3 p.m. The cost per raffle ticket is $100 and only 1,000 chances will be sold. The official drawing of the winner will take place on July 4, 2008 and the Corvette itself will be on display in the Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac showroom until then.
“We’re extremely grateful for Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac’s generous donation of the Corvette convertible for our raffle,” said Stu Baker, of the Plymouth Lions Club. “We’re looking to raise quite a bit of money with this fundraiser and hopeful that we’ll get a great turnout at the December 15th kickoff.”
