The all New Tata Safari to be launched soon
Tata Motors is India's one of the leading automobile company, which blesses the Indian roads with rumours cars. Tata Motors launched first Indian SUV, Tata Safari in the lucrative roads of India for a decade now. However, it has been speculated that Tata Safari's competitor Mahindra Scorpio has bagged the top rank in this segment. According to the sources, the company will be launching a new SUV in 2011. That new SUV might be named as Tata Merlin.
The new SUV is speculated to be a bit slimmer as co pared to the old version of the Tata Safari with fine front looks. The design of the Tata Merlin might have a slight resemblance with the Jaguar, Land Rover SUV. The new Tata SUV will be affixed with the 2.2 litre Dicor engine which has been placed under the bonnet area. The new version of Tata Safari is expected to be accord with the 4x4 and many other features from Tata Aria. The most important thing, the safety measures like Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and traction control would be included in the revised model. Other horns and whistles may come as part of the final product offering.
In this segment Tata's latest launch was Aria which has failed to impress the Indian SUV/MUV buyers. However, with the new model Tata Safari/Merlin, the company hopes to attract the SUV buyers in India. Well, lets see this model will do some miracle on the Indian roads. Tata Motors Group registered a global wholesales of 98,998 no in January 2011 leading to a growth of 16% in comparison of the last year. The sales include the sales of premium brands Jaguar and Land Rover. The company accrued sales for the calender year are 868,583 witnessing a rise of 27% compared to the 2009-10.New cars to look forward to this year include Maruti SX4 diesel, Toyota Etios Liva, Honda Brio, Audi A7, Nissan Sunny and Hyundai Avante.
