There are a number of several types of muscle cars that folks will drive inside the United States. The Mustang may be the more popular - however the Camaro is the runner up and is hastily making its way towards the top. This car had been discontinued - but a year or two ago it made a comeback. Soon individuals, who planned to forget the vehicle, were hankering to have the newer and much more modern model.

In order to know more about the concept of this supercar you first must know the start of where everything got started. The first Camaro came out in 1967 and it had been based off of the Chevy Nova compact car of the time. It was a uni body structure that was created using a steel sub frame. That is what gave it a shiny and aerodynamic trait that people loved so much about it.

The semi elliptical leaf spring offered suspension for the rear axle and also the double A-arms offered it front independent suspension. Underneath the top was a 230 cubic inch engine that had the capacity to push out 140 horsepower. What was the purchase price? Only $2,466! As is popular today, that cost was subject to vary according to any additional characteristics the buyer required.

The concept of this car stayed the exact same for more than a few years. It provided consumers with a sleek look and a powerful engine that made them feel like they were in a strong race car without really being in one. Nevertheless, during the 1980's Chevy built the first 4 cylinder engine Camaro.

This unique model was a lot more fuel efficient to adapt to the altering gas prices and make it more interesting to people who were still wary by the quantity of fuel which was being burned. This Camaro model also underwent essentially the most dramatic exterior adjustments to allow it to be more modern for its time. That would be one of the biggest improvements until the 2000's when it made its return and became bigger and badder than ever before. Check it out if you haven't yet!
