I agree with the comments on the new Mighty Muscular Scorpio. I own the 2009 SLE, since May 09. The engine is highly responsive and refined to near perfection. Mahindra's agressive pricing, especially for SLE model with ABS, Fog lamps, ERVM at 9.5L on road is true value for money, for those looking for a compact SUV within 10L. It's good to drive in city as well as highways giving 10/14 KMPL respectively. This is the best so far for an indian SUV, in terms of price and performance. But, it still gives a bumpy ride and not great for off roading. Don't expect the comfort of a sedan here. Though there are no issues while parking it on city roads, malls, Mahindra should really think about cutting down the height of the vehicle especially on the backside. The backside is too wide, flat and tall with the upward projection. Little slimming here would do a world of good for this car. I still wonder when do we get a compact 5 seater SUV or cross over with good ground clearance in India within 10L. All the SUV's mentioned above are huge in Size and high on price. Anyone has inputs on Skoda Yeti..? Cheers,
Raj
