Most of the Volvo cars in India are completely built unit (CBU) and the VolvoS60 too will be a CBU. Mercedes Benz C-Class cars, Audi A4 and BMW-3 Series are some of the models that would compete with S60 in India.
The styling of Volvo S60 is more or less similar to Volvo XC60 as the roofline and front panel has a striking resemblance to the XC60. Coming to engine part, S60 is equipped with 2.4 Liter turbo diesel engine that has the capacity to churn out maximum power of 205 bhp at the rate of 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 42 kgm at the rate of 1500 and 3200 rpm. At top speed the car can reach 230 kms per hour and in just 7.8 seconds it can reach 0 to100 km. For the record similar kind of engine specification is already available in Volvo crossover XC60 as well.
