Two Articles have already been published. This is the third Article in which I have written about Ragging as a heinous crime.Today I received information that my third book " Eerie moments" is about to be published as its cover Design is ready for Production in Publish America.
Ragging, the most atrocious crime ever seen exhibited in Engineering and Medical colleges all over the country.
Ragging is the most heinous crime resorted by the senior students over the juniors to satisfy their sadistic ends. It has come to such an unpardonable situation especially in Engineering and Medical colleges.
At first it all started as a tolerable simple make-friendly act by which the seniors were able to bring over the juniors to adapt to the changed situation in a new atmosphere. But later all these took a severe dramatic turn for the worse, as the upstarts from among the wealthy spoilt children whose sadistic ends knew no other bounds that they would leap at any level to have fun. Their cruelties were such that none of the juniors were spared. The result of all these ended in the ultimate decision of the victims to end their lives by jumping over the buildings. Many juniors ended their lives when they could do nothing to avoid it. Their parents, public were stunned beyond belief but were the culprits actually shocked. Never! How could they? When the situation had come to such a gruesome level, their parents who happened to belong to influential societies or important Politicians would hastily come to their rescue. The Managements would only be pleased to receive them and the guilty children would be shielded as if they were truly innocent and no case would be registered against these unruly students.
In this way Ragging goes on unhindered as the Law could do nothing to get hold of them. The senior students derive much pleasure when they start ragging. I remember incidents from the past when I was in a boarding school. I used to shy away from class as the senior students at the back bench used to rag me while the class was in progress and a Lady Teacher was present. The students wore small shorts and shirts as uniforms. It was really shameful when one of them purposely pushed his hand underneath my shorts and gripped my penis firmly to irritate me. I could do nothing to avoid it and so I skipped many classes. If I did anything to disengage from them, they would become violent.
Ragging was usually not reported to even the parents because it was a shameful act. Neither was it reported to the Management in the school. The victims were the only witnesses to the crime perpetuated by the seniors who walked about the campus defying even the Authorities of the college. Many Laws have been passed recently to ban all the ragging activities in the campus but it has not totally been stopped.
