The Red Stripe Band goes online with a Microsite

Well, the idea for a “microsite” came from an old contact of mine who is very successful in the private function market. He spent many years managing a relatively well known named artist and realised that a separate website needed to be created which gave specific information regarding private functions. Fans and followers who already know the band will be pleased to access the main website (www.red-stripe.info), facebook page, myspace etc and having already seen the band will have already made their decisions but those who are looking for a band to play at their function or party and have never heard of the band through other media need information relevant to their needs. Hence we created “Band-for-party.com” We provide, in a clear and concise way, all the information necessary regarding hiring the band for a private function. The visitor will get a clear picture of exactly what the band provides including a complete playlist. In this way we receive highly relevant enquiries giving higher conversion and lower time input.

The Red Stripe Band has been in existence now for over 15 years – since before the World Wide Web was used to any great extent but we now realise that it is essential and makes total business sense to market to the world via the web. We are lucky enough to have one of Italy’s primary talents in this field on our side who I met on a beach whilst on holiday – Simone Luciani. He is guiding us through this process which has now become an industry of its own and one which commands a good deal of skill and knowledge - best left to professionals in my view!
