2009 review: the top three phones of the year
This year has seen a selection properly awesome smartphones turn up on shelves, and now it's time to decide which the best devices out there. Let's take a look at the main contenders for most incredibly phone of 2009.
Nokia N900
We begin by looking at the best smartphone in Finnish manufacturer Nokia's catalogue. Their latest smartphone is the first of a new breed; it is the first handset ever to be powered by the new Maemo UI (heretofore found only in the Finnish manufacturer's range of internet tablets). Say hello to the Nokia N900. This Maemo OS provides the Nokia N900 with a touch friendly UI, and in addition to that, the handset comes with a built in QWERTY keypad, so it has more ways to access the phone than just the touchscreen. It isn't just about the interface, however, as the Nokia N900 is crammed with top-end features. A 5 megapixel camera lets you take superb photos, the media playback is stunning, and with HSDPA and GPS, the Nokia N900 certainly isn't short of connectivity options.
Palm Pre
On the other hand, when it comes to interfaces, there's one phone beats both of the other handsets in this list, hands down: the innovative Palm Pre. This is simply because the Palm Pre is designed on a totally bespoke interface named WebOS, that is undoubtedly the sleekest, most user-friendly OS which has ever been made. Along with intuitive gesture controls and finger sweeps for EVERY interaction with the phone, the Palm Pre also brings in tight integration between its different apps. Book a ticket for the movies using one app, and the Palm Pre instantly updates the calendar with the show time. Multitask lots of different apps, and be amazed as you watch the Palm Pre scream along without slowing down at all. In the world of the user interface, essentially, the Palm Pre can't be topped!
HTC HD2
So, there's the Nokia N900 with that Maemo OS, and then you've got the Palm Pre, which uses WebOS. And then there's the HTC HD2; it holds the record for the biggest screen seen on any mobile phone. Weighing in at a whopping 4.3 inches, it is truly gargantuan, and the WVGA, 800x480 resolution makes it genuinely easy to use things like scrollbars in menus. However, the HTC HD2 actually does a brilliant job of making it so you don't need to drill down into the normal Windows menus that often, as sitting atop the operating system, the operating system is HTC's brilliant Sense UI, where you do everything by way of various finger swipes and sweeping gestures. It is truly intuitive, and it (as well as the truly awesome 1GHz Snapdragon CPU) is what makes the HTC HD2 such an unmitigated joy to use. Of course, it's not all about being raw processing power, a phone has to have compelling features and the HTC HD2 has them in spades, from the 5 megapixel camera, through GPS, to incredibly fast HSDPA internet access (not to mention the superb Opera Mobile web browser), which is why many people see it as the best mobile phone EVER.

I still commemorate vividly when my best friend was expected to come for a business interview. It was her age old wish for this form of opportunity to arise and hopes everthing will turn out the way she wanted it to. Composing for a identified fashion mag has been her long time dream. Even while in school hours, it does not deter her to read tons of fashion magazines like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, etc. I think it was because of her persuasion that I took in Journalism too.
If you are wondering about the identity behind a mysterious phone number that keeps showing up your home or cell phone, you can easily find out all you want to know by doing a cell phone search.
Despite the fact that everyone loves cheap mobile broadband usage, it entirely depends on the data transfer.
Going with just plain looks and standard performance isn't the way to go when purchasing a mobile device; more often we check our budget and see if we could have a trendy phone at a modest price tag. For individuals who are on the hunt for a trendy and groundbreaking device that is substantially priced, look no more because the groundbreaking Sony Ericsson C510 Silver has arrived.
