A Popular Mobile Phone – Improved

A highly popular mobile phone of 2007 was the Nokia 6300, in fact it is still very popular today. It therefore comes as no surprise that Nokia have announced the 6300i, which is basically an upgrade to the original 6300. Nokia fans may have heard of the Nokia 6301 which was recently released, which is also very similar to the 6300i, but the 6300i sports a few minor changes and software upgrades from the 6301.

The 6300i is a standard candy bar style mobile phone and comes in a dark grey colour scheme. It comes with an FM radio, WiFi, 2 mega pixel camera, video capture, web browser, email client, VOIP capabilities, and multimedia player. It comes with a 512MB microSD card but it can support microSD cards up to 4GB, this is 2GB more than the original 6300 and the 6301.

The main differences between the original 6300 is that the 6300i features WiFi, and has considerably more memory. The 6301 does feature WiFi capabilities but can only expand its memory up to 2GB.

If Nokia were to add a better camera to the 6300i, add GPS (although it does come equip with Nokia Maps) make it a smart phone and add Skype the Nokia 6300i would have almost everything anyone could want!

The 6300i is thought to be released in Q2 of this year, it is expected to be priced around £130, which is much cheaper than the 6300 (released January 2007) and 6301 (released March 2008) when they were launched.
