Blackberry 9500 Storm – the Biggest Competitor of It’s Rivals

Blackberry 9500 Storm is the first ever mobile phone having dual functionality – the touch screen and the clickable moving screen this means that we can use both functions simultaneously, the touch and the click. Now we will discuss it’s basic features which are necessary for a mobile phone user and the extended one’s too which makes it identifiable among the mob.

 

Dimensions, Screen and Camera Features:

 

Storm has 3.3” touchscreen with a resolution of 360 x 480 pixels. The weight of this mobile device is about 155 gms. Video playback is sharp and smooth, and the extra pixels on the large screen means eye fatigue won't be much of an issue. It has a 3.2 MP camera with autofocus and flash which is able to capture pictures of about 2048 x 1536 pixels which is of good quality but not like those which can be taken by some other mobile phones available in the market.

 

Music, FM and Entertainment:

 

Blackberry Storm has music as well as video player which can play the music formats of MP3, WMA. AAC+ songs

 

Camera and Video Features:

 

The BlackBerry 9500 Storm has a 3.2 MP camera in it. This camera is able to take pictures which are quite good. The image resolution of these pictures is about 2048 x 1536 pixels.. The user is also given a video player, which is able to play video files having formats: WMV, H.264, MPEG4 and 3gp.This mobile device also has GPS technology in the form of built-in GPS.

 

Other Features:

 

BlackBerry also provides BlackBerry maps in this widget.The BlackBerry 9500 Storm has a DataViz document viewer, which is also able to edit documents. The technology of Java is also present in this mobile device. Apart from these features, a good organiser is also a part of this mobile phone.This mobile device has a accelerometer sensor, which enables pictures to be taken either in horizontal or vertical positions, while using the camera.

 

Apart From all these features, Blackberry Storm has some interesting features For business personnels

 

Like QWERTY keybord, office applications and VGA output.
