Choosing between Sony Ericsson W580i and Sony Ericsson W910i

There is no doubt that the Sony Ericsson W580i and the Sony Ericsson W910i are both fantastic phones with high quality designs and top-notch features. They share many of the same features, but each has its own unique quality as well.

When it comes to size, weight, shape and design, both phones are popular for their overall appearance. The W580i is only slightly smaller than the W910i model, but the W580i is a little heavier. Both mobile phones have classy designs. The W910i allows for vertical or horizontal viewing. The W580i focuses on it’s slim form factor. Both phone screens are 262,144-colour TFT and 240x320 pixel. The W580i is available in Style White, Boulevard Black, Urban Grey, Metro Pink, and Jungle Green. The W910i comes in Noble Black, Havana Bronze, Silky White, Lipstick Pink, and Prime Silver.

Superior camera quality is in high demand these days when it comes to cellular phones. Both the W580i and W910i models come with a 2-megapixel camera, which allows you to take high quality and clear pictures from your phone. The W580i allows for zoom up to 4x the size, while the W910i can zoom up to 2x. Both phones offer video recording and picture blogging, however only the W910i allows for video blogging.

When it comes to memory, the W910i comes with a considerable amount more memory at 35 MB than its cousin the W580i at 12 MB.

Other features that both the W910i and W580i carry include text messaging, sound recorder, predictive text input, picture messaging, email, vibrating alert, polyphonic ringtones and speakerphone. The W910i also offers the video call feature.

Bottomline, both of these phones come with a plethora of awesome features and a design that would make any phone owner proud. While each phone has several unique features, they balance each other out and are therefore equally high quality phones.
