The Nokia N97 Mini runs on the Symbian operating sytem allowing you to customise your phone. It also has a QWERTY keyboard, perfect for messaging, emailing and browsing the web!

With a built in Web Browser you can access internet sites directly from your mobile phone. Check the latest scores, look up train times and check for delays, get a weather report, or many other things. HSDPA on the N97 Mini means that you can enjoy speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, similar home broadband (not sure about that claim) - so browsing and downloads are pretty fast. There is also Wi-Fi on the Nokia N97 Mini, you can use your phone to connect to a local wireless network (W-LAN) to connect to the internet.

This is expandable up to 16GB taking the total to a potential 24GB!

With GPS built into the Nokia N97 mini, you can use the phone to locate your position, plan your journey, check for problems, and as a general Sat Nav device, when used in conjunction with compatible mapping software. A-GPS is a network service that can locate your position to within 100 metres by using a clever technique called triangulation. By sending a signal to three cell masts, A-GPS will work out your location by the location of the cells and your distance from them. When combined with a GPS enabled phone, the addition of A-GPS enables a faster GPS satellite lock.

There is also a host of other standard features, including the ability to play music files and video play back facilities, along with bluetooth functionality. Overall. this is a pretty good phone, that should appeal to those who like a smaller model. Similar to the Tocco Lite, but with more power and cooler features.
