Cordless Phones: a Gadget to Stay

We all remember the days when a wire used to be attached with our phone. The wire criss crossing the whole boundary of our house used to enter into the room where it was kept. It has a some sort of emotional attachment that we all used to carry about the set and the wire. But, now time has changed, the wire is no more in its place and the phone is also not in its place. It has vanished from the space it used to have. Now, with the advent of Cordless phones, its reach has crossed the boundary and it has went to our workplace.

It is worth mentioning their functions, it seems has broken the convenience rules of the decades. Those were the days when in its initial days the cordless phones might reach across the house – if you were lucky. But slowly but steadily, the distance began to grow and it stretched out to a point. Later, reception was extended to the outside of the house. Today, cordless phones have strong enough reception, you can receive and make call from the neighborhood of your house. Another feature of the cordless phone remains with its is - introduction of multiple handsets, an innovation that catapulted the whole cordless users. There is one base phone, that the users can use to make up to four or five other handsets criss crossing the whole house. Now there is no need for a phone plug in each and every room of a house.

The only downside feature of the cordless phones is its reliance on electricity. If there is no electricity it fails to work. Moreover, there is another downside feature : if there is a storm, the cordless phone dies (conditions apply). Unless you have a back up phone, you would be without contact to emergency numbers, family, or neighbors for as long as the power stayed off. It is a truth the cordless phones are a wonderful addition in the sphere to its users giving comforts of today’s society. They give you the option of freedom while talking. Cordless phones serve as intercoms, pagers, as well as regular phones.
