A new breed of touchscreen phones has been relased by Samsung of late, models including the Armani Phone, F700 and F490 incorporate the latest touch screen technology from the manufacturer.
The company has followed these products with a new offering, the Samsung Tocco, a sleek, compact and stylish mobile phone with a large touchscreen not unlike the iPhone.
The Samsung F480 Tocco is similar in look and design to the popular Samsung Armani phone, although this time the F480 does not carry the fashion house branding. The Tocco has an updated UI, giving an improved user experience to previous touch screen phones. Feature wise the Samsung F480 Tocco includes an impressive 5.0 megapixel camera, support for Bluetooth 2.0 and is compatible with 3G HSDPA Mobile Broadband connectivity, for super fast downloads.
A built in 5.0 megapixel camera, with auto focus, the Samsung Tocco on Vodafone takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your phone, email them to friends or upload them to your blog.
The Vodafone Tocco handset has an email client, which will allow you to receive email from your own personal email account, and send pictures, videos or text emails to any email account anywhere in the world. Email access on the phone is simple to set up and a cost effective way of keeping in touch.
With a built in music player, the F480 Tocco can carry your tunes with you, in your pocket, and listen to them when you want. Most digital formats are recognised on the phone, including MP3 and AAC.
Java is often a forgotten feature on many phones, and is probably used in many ways without you even realising. If you play games on your phone, it’s likely they are java apps. But java is so much more than games. It allows you to add extra functionality to your handset by installing third party apps to the phone. The Samsung Tocco was originally launched on O2 but with this new Vodafone release the number of tariffs on offer has now doubled making it even easier to get the right tariff to suit your usage requirements.
