Earlier this month, I fell in love with a phone at first site. It was simple- the phone was the perfect size, had amazing features, and was absolutely gorgeous.
Primarily, the HTC Diamond has some pretty nice interface tech that they're calling TouchFLO 3D that heavily emphasizes one-touch browsing and single-finger dialing. They also focused web accessibility, zoom-in navigation with "just one hand" and not too many fingers. Signature to HTC, the phone comes with Windows Mobile 6.1, which works flawlessly on the phone. Interestingly, however, HTC used the Opera Mobile browser instead of Microsoft's Internet Explorer noting a better browsing experience on the former. The move is a welcomed one and the browsing experience on both Wi-Fi and HSDPA is, to put it bluntly, beautiful.
How does the phone differ from other units?
The HTC Diamond distinguishes itself from every other cell phone on the market, including the iPhone. Notably, it is a business phone, yet it is extremely elegant and stylish. Feature wise, it has a 3.2 mega pixel camera which is better than most smart phones on the market, such as the iPhone. It has 4 GB of internal storage- I personally believe anything more is unnecessary to most people. The battery life of the phone is also supurb, ranking in the top 5% of all smart phones, which lasted long even when listening to the FM radio equipped on the phone.
So is there anything wrong with the phone at all?
Though my love for the phone would like to say otherwise, there are some small issues with the phone. First of all, the phone is a tri-band phone, which could result in suboptimal reception in areas that rely on the 850 band. Further, for the few of those that actually require more than 4 GBs of memory, the memory is NOT expandable. Bummer.
The bottom line, however, is that the HTC Diamond is a masterpiece that deserves praise. The price tag is a little high, but the fact that I am writing this review using my HTC Diamond should prove to you how amazing the phone really is.

Although this slider phone is sleek and sexy on the outside, it suffers from a cramped keypad that's difficult to navigate even for the smallest h...

This phone deserves an 8/10 because the lack of flash really makes the camera unusable during the night time.

P is for P1i
By: cellswholesale.com | 07/06/2008 | Cell PhonesMy first impression of this phone was it looked very smart. It makes me feel like my IQ increased by 15 points just by holding it in my hands. When holding this phone, the feel is that it is sturdy and weighted. This is because the build quality is solid and aluminum was used on the outer shell. Inserting text with the P1i wasn’t much of a hassle due to its unique QWERTY keyboard.
