Featuring the new touch-based S-Class UI, the LG Viewty Smart is an incredible phone to use, with slick animations and smooth transitions between screens and menus. As well as the 8MP camera in the LG Viewty Smart, you also get a stunning multimedia player, and super-fast internet access, making the LG Viewty Smart one of the coolest camera phones out there.
Samsung Tocco Ultra
What if you want a keypad as well as a touchscreen, though? Well, the answer is the Samsung Tocco Ultra. This features a beautiful touchscreen, AND a slide-out keypad, for people who prefer having tactile buttons to dial and text with. The other key selling point about the Samsung Tocco Ultra is its looks. Despite having a touchscreen, 8MP camera, HSDPA and a full keypad, it's still one of the thinnest phones Samsung have ever made. Put simply, if looks are your thing, the Samsung Tocco Ultra is quite possibly the prettiest phone on this list.
Samsung i8910 HD
No matter how good the LG Viewty Smart and Samsung Tocco Ultra are (and they are VERY good), one thing that neither phone is is a smartphone. So, if it's a smartphone you want, the natural choice has to be the Samsung i8910 HD, one of the most powerful phones yet released in 2009. It shares the TouchWiz UI with the Tocco Ultra, but the difference is that in the Samsung i8910 HD, that interface sits on top of Symbian, making it a real smartphone powerhouse. That's not the big party piece with the Samsung i8910 HD, however; THAT is its camera, because as well as being an 8MP still camera, it can also capture true HD video at 720p resolution. So, while the LG Viewty Smart has the cool factor of its predecessor, and while the Samsung Tocco Ultra has the looks, the Samsung i8910 HD is simply the most powerful camera phone in this list.
