LG BL40 Chocolate : Ready for a 4inch chocolate?

Chocolate series is popular for its spectacular design and extremely stylish looks. LG have done a remarkable job in bringing out this series which has helped its sales skyrocket through the roof. LG BL40 Chocolate is an apt example of that scenario. And now LG have come out with the BL40 New Chocolate. This phone by far would be one of the most beautiful devices you would have seen this year or ever for that matter. It is sleek, its light, it has striking colours and it is unique, something that is not associated regularly with touchscreen devices. The first time you look at it and you can't help but admire how huge the screen is. It has great finishing on all parts of the body and that aspect is paid further adherence to with its black coloured body and the shine that it gets.

The LG BL40 Chocolate has a quad band network for its 2G services while 3G services would depend upon your network provider as well as the area/zone that you're located in. If your area doesn't have 3G then it won't work for you. It has dimensions of 128 millimeters in height, 51 millimeters in width and 10.9 millimeters in depth. Despite its huge size and body structure it has a weight of 129 grams which actually isn't that bulky.

The best part about this phone, undoubtedly, is its vast 4.01 inch screen. This comes down to about 345 X 800 pixels The screen in itself is a TFT touchscreen which can display 16 million colours. A screen the size of 4 inches is astounding in itself. Its helpful and creates a pleasurable environment when watching movies or videos and even when surfing the Internet as you won't have to scroll too much to read through a certain page. Furthermore, the display also allows for accelerometer sensor to auto rotate the screen when its position is changed. S-Class touch user interface is useful in easy maneuverability between the menu functions. There is also a proximity sensor for auto turn off which is useful in saving precious battery. Another fantastic feature is of gesture control. This control allows the user to set certain gestures which would load an application. These gestures will be initiated by swiping a pre selected gesture on the screen with your finger. This adds a nice touch that adds to the quality feel of the user interface.

It would have been a shame had LG not put this mammoth screen to good use and gladly it hasn't. The phone comes pre-loaded with a video player which supports various formats such as MP4, DivX, XviD and H.263. Not only that there is support for connecting the phone with the television using the TV Out cable. It should not be confined to the videos alone though. Images can be captured in stupendous quality as well. It has a five megapixel camera with features to improve the image captured quality. Those features include Schneider-Kreuznach optics, auto focus, LED flash, GEO-tagging, face,smile and blink detection. All of these features improve the quality of the images and videos captured. It would be rather pointless to have great imaging features and sound/video players until and unless there is good storage space for that. That also has been taken care of. Internal memory of 1.1 GB and external memory of upto 32GB is possible on this device. This external memory source is the microSD data card.
