LG GW620 Brings Social Networking via Mobile Phones to a New Level

Are you a social networking butterfly and craves for a full QWERTY keyboard for fast instant messaging input? There is more to that in LG GW620. It also features a social networking service manager that displays and updates email, instant messages, facebook status arranged according to contacts. This allows you to keep updated of the latest happenings of your social network even while on the go.

The Online Social Network Craze

In anticipation for the growing demand for smart phones that support social networking function, LG designed the phone with the social networking butterfly in mind and making the phone more accessible to typical users. Online social networking is now very popular that almost everyone who spends time before a laptop or a PC is a member of at least one social network site.

Social networking is an old mechanism used not only for personal ends but also with professional and business aims. However lately, the internet brought social networking to a different level making it easier and bigger as your reach is not limited by your location. Via the internet, you can connect with people from around the world. Not only can you develop contacts with people from another country but it also allows you to learn from about new places and from a diverse mix of cultures, which is a good thing.

Smart phones are about to obliterate PC and laptop exclusivity of online social networking by taking them to the mobile phones as well. The latest to join the bandwagon of social networking capable phones is the LG GW620. Equipped with a facial recognition system, and an SNS manager that brings in facebook and twitter together in to the contacts application, social networking on the go is way lot easier with this phone.

Fully-loaded Yet User-friendly

According to LG’s press releases, the phone is your ultimate first Smart Phone. It is fully loaded with cool features while maintaining the user-friendly character of LG phones that its customers know and love. You do not have to be a geek to take full advantage of its Android operating system and it comes with a large 3 inch full touch screen that does not necessarily strain your eye while spending more than just a few minutes before your phone’s screen.

It can be rotated to adjust to vertical and horizontal viewing. The LCD panel has a 240 x 400 screen resolution and comes with a resistive touch screen technology with 256k color depth support. Not actually above other smart phones in its class but does the job anyway.

Value for Your Money

It also comes with a camera with 5 mega pixel imaging capability, Bluetooth, phone book, organizer, photo editor, microSD card, micro USB, GPS with A-GPS support, Wi-Fi connectivity, FM Radio and Music player. Now, these are indeed bonuses you wouldn’t mind having with your new android phone. The price is yet to be known but the phone being LG’s debut for the android phone market, it is not expected to cost as much as other smart phones do.
