The LG line of consumer electronic products offers consumers quality products at very reasonable cost. LG P350 Optimus unlocked smartphone is compatible with GSM and GPRS/Edge. It is a quad-band phone, operating on the 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 frequency segments. It is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile, however, it is not compatible with CDMA networks offered by Sprint or Verizon.

Feature rich, the LG P350 offers a standard 3.15 MP camera with 2048 by 1536 pixel image resolution. The camera features autofocus and Geo-tagging so that you can indicate where images were taken, if you choose. Images can not only be instantly viewed on the 4.5-inch high-resolution display, but can be instantly uploaded through the devices' built-in WiFi interconnectivity. It recognizes WiFi standards 802.11 g/n, both of which are widely used in public hotspots that are available in major sections of the country. Upload speed is up to 7 MBPS thanks to the Optimus 3G HSDPA capability.

The LG P350 is tightly bound to social networking as it integrates much of Google's functionality through the Android operating system. The Android operating system is at the heart of Google's network and includes access to more than 200,000 free applications with which you can customize your phone. For instance, you can access Google Maps, Google Earth, Google Search and any other Google social networking tools.

As part of its basic packaging, it includes social media integration to the most basic features of Google's offerings including Google Talk (Gtalk for instant messaging) and Gmail, one of the more widely used email packages on the market. Texting is enhanced with the device predictive text entry feature that anticipates and completes words with only two or three letters. You can access a QWERTY-style touch-screen keyboard with the right application that also helps to enhance not only texting but also emails. In addition, it features stereo radio/RDS (Roadway Display System that shows the content of the station to which you are tuned) plus built-in GPS functionality and a Digital Compass so that with the right app you can have a full GPS system available in your smartphone.

The LG P350 features a built-in document viewer and organizer. It also features voice memo capability and it recognizes multiple formats including MP4/H.264/H.263, WMV, MP3, WAV, WMA and eAAC+ (an Apple format). And it is very handy too, as it weighs only 4.5 ounces and is half-an-inch thick. It is 2.1 inches wide by 4.2 inches deep. The device makes extensive use of Bluetooth 2.1/ A2DP and its memory can be expanded to 32 GB via microSD memory cards. The microSD cards is a standard memory card and is available from a number of memory manufacturers.

The LG P350 Optimus is a rugged phone and is built for everyday use. If you use it heavily, its lithium-ion battery pack should hold a seven-hour charge before you need to charge it. It features over 500 hours of standby power. In short, it is an affordable, smartphone for the user on the go who wants to keep in touch with social networks and needs high-speed net connectivity for those networks, work or home.
