LG Secret on T-mobile is Secret Phone by Lg, a Sliding Masterpiece

If you have watched any television, read any magazines or listened to your radio over the part few days it could not have escaped your notice, the LG Secret seems to be everywhere.

It seems that the manufacturer is more than proud of its latest release from its Black Label Series of LG phones, and at a glance it looks like they have every right to be. The LG Secret is a new sliding mobile phone that features the highest specification camera lens first seen in the LG Viewty, their other flagship product.

However, the Secret is different, it blends all of the manufacturers latest technology and features into an extremely slim frame and uses materials like carbon fibre to give the phone a finish of quality and expense.

Expensive it may look, but the LG Secret is heavily subsidised by the UK networks and can be obtained free of charge on many contract deals which now includes T-Mobile.

After first launching on O2 and Vodafone the LG Secret made its way onto Orange and then was released as a SIM free phone and also on Pay As You Go, this latest launch means that there are now many more tariffs including T-Mobiles Flext tariffs that give you a mix of minutes and text to use up each and every month.

T-Mobile Flext tariff differs from other network tariffs by not allocating a set number of minutes and text, instead the user is able to call and text until they use a set monetary quota after which they then start to pay for their usage, flexible is exactly what Flext stands for.

Review:

The LG Secret is a new 5 megapixel camera phone that can also shoot DivX video at 120fps. At just 11.8mm thick, the LG Secret is the slimmest 5 megapixel camera phone on the market. Photo and video editing features include facial editing and SmartLight, a feature that automatically adjusts the picture’s light settings.

The LG Secret will always look pristine thanks to the advanced materials used to make it. Made from carbon fibre, traditionally used in the construction of aircraft and F1 cars, provide exceptional strength and durability whilst remaining incredibly light-weight A tempered glass display gives the LG Secrets touch screen display unrivalled durability and scratch resistance. Neon touch navigation buttons sensitively respond to commands with a luminous blue light.

As well as being the slimmest 5 megapixel camera phone, the LG Secret boasts the ability to take video at 120 frames per second and DivX® certified recording. Timeless moments can be edited with powerful photo and video editing features, including facial editing and SmartLight™, a feature that automatically adjusts the picture’s light settings. Users can also create their own music videos using the phone’s Movie Maker software.

The LG Secret’s outstanding entertainment features take advantage of the phone’s touch-screen - users can access five multimedia functions which include music, photos, games, documents, and the FM radio. In addition, users can simultaneously flick through photos on the screen while listening to music. Microsoft documents can be opened easily and the handset is loaded with a Google package that enables the user to surf the Internet, log into Gmail, use Google Maps and watch YouTube videos.

Using Bluetooth, the LG Secret automatically synchronises with PCs without the need to use USB cables. Images can be viewed both horizontally and vertically using the phone’s auto rotating display, and the screen’s lighting adjusts to ensure that it is always clear. In addition, the phone also comes with Voice Clarity technology that guarantees perfect sound quality in every environment.

The LG Secret has now been picked up by all UKnetworks aside form Virgin Mobile (a virtual network running off T-Mobiles platform) and 3 Mobile (The only 3G dedicated UK network). This means that consumers can simply check the coverage of their area and choose from the range of tariffs for the network that offers the strongest signal strength.

The LG Secret has taken the technology of the LG Viewty and the design of the Black Label LG range to a new high, this is set to be the flagship model from the manufacturer for some time to come.
