The newest addition to the LG mobile phone range is the new LG Viewty, confusingly also called the LG Ku990 Viewty and u990 Viewty this new touchscreen device offers the highest specification mobile camera on the market aswell as the best resolution video recording capabilites.
The LG Viewty was originally launched on Vodafone some time ago and has since enjoyed an avid following, but the emergence of this new camera phone onto the UK network 3 Mobile will have plenty of consumers excited.
3 Mobile is a dedicated 3G network and offers the best value for money when compared to the other UK networks. Customers can expect far more minutes and text messages for their money aswell as access to 3G services and face to face video calling.
The LG KU990 Viewty is the successor to the Prada phone by LG. It adds a 5 megapixel camera, HSDPA and comes in a fetching black finish with black keys. It is thicker than the Prada phone and 25g heavier. The KU990 has a 3 inch touchscreen with an easy to use interface, simply touch the screen with your finger to select the option you want. The new 5 megapixel camera has a xenon flash, auto focus and ISO sensitivity adjustment. It can record high quality video at 30 frames per second. There is also a secondary VGA video call camera. The KU990 has a built-in FM radio, an MP3 player and a video player. It has a web browser and a document viewer, supporting Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF files. However, with no WiFi and with it's advanced media features the KU990 is more an entertainment cameraphone than it is a business device.
The combination of this top end mobile phone and the 3G network, 3 Mobile, is a major leap forward for the manufacturer, savvy consumers are well aware of the benefits that 3 Mobile have to offer and this will only serve to bolster the sales of the handset.
For reference, the LG Viewty is one of those mobile phones that has been renamed by the network and is officially called the LG Viewty u990 on 3 Mobile.
