LG Viewty Review - a Review of the Design and Features

When it comes to searching for the best phone ever, consumers usually look at the most important thing for him. Is it the design or the features? Considering LG KU990, what could be its edge over other mobile phones in the market? Its design and features can clearly say what the mobile phone can offer the consumers.

LG Viewty's Design

Although shallow for some, but design takes a good deal when it comes to choosing a mobile phone. Most consumers do not just use their mobile phones for communication but as a fashion accent too. Almost everyone does not want to bring a cheap-looking and very lousy-designed phone and show it to friends, business clients, and relatives. So when it comes to the LG Viewty's design, does the LG Viewty take a passing or a failing remark?

While almost all great camera phones offer a very poor design, LG Viewty still emanates elegance. At the back, the phone may seemingly look like a real digital camera. In front, it looks like a very elegant iPhone with its large and crystal touch screen. Many critiques even agree that LG Viewty is among the best-looking camera mobile phones in the market today.

LG Viewty also offers different colours for everyone's taste. There re black, silver, red, pink, and purple LG Viewty colours available.

LG Viewty's Features

Many LG Viewty reviews agree that the phone's touchscreen is one of the most responsive and can also be set to vibrate when being touched.

The software interface in the phone also features great layout as well as easy-touch. However, there are some critiques finding difficulty in controlling the interface. Messaging with this phone can also be done with its alphanumeric or numeric keypad. Handwriting can also be used, however, this is slower compared to tapping the touchscreen. There may be a vibrating feedback when dialling or messaging using the phone. However, some find this process slower.

The web browser used by LG Viewty is similar to iPhone. The user can see the entire webpage and zoom in to the specific section. However, loading web pages is slower compared to other phones. Some LG Viewty reviews say that this may be because of the network since the phone itself can provide 1.8 mbps of Internet speed, almost similar to broadband connection people use at home.

The only biggest disappointment that hinders the phone from becoming one of the best mobile phone deals is its lack of Wi-Fi capability.

According to some LG Viewty reviews, Internet surfing with the phone consumes so much of the battery.

Meanwhile, the camera of LG Viewty is capable of capturing 5-megapixel images, similar quality with the Nokia N95. The images can also be adjusted in terms of size, quality, and white balance.

There is also the digital stabilization which promises to reduce blur. However, this feature is not as good as the optical stabilization. The phone also features a xenon flash, however, this is not as bright as the camera flashes integrated with digital cameras.

The way to view photos with LG Viewty is amazingly cool, as if previewing photos like throwing them on a table. There is also the standard viewing method which lines up all the images for one-by-one previewing.

Images can also be edited with the photo-editing application installed. This application provides capability to add text, effects, doodles, and other fun things.

LG Viewty can also provide DVD-quality viewing with its DivX playback feature.

Some features included with the LG Viewty that can make it one of the best mobile phone deals are calendar, speakerphone, a music player similar to a standard MP3 player, and fun games.
