Motorola Razr2 V9: Still Eye-catching After One Year

The Motorola RAZR2 V9 has been out since May 2007, just over a year now. My girlfriend has wanted this phone for a few months so I decided to snoop around. I found a store that sells for a rather cheap price so I decided to buy it from there. (www.cellswholesale.com) After 2 days, the phone arrived at my front door.

The first thing I noticed about the Motorola V9 is it is very solidly built. The aluminum outer shell also adds to this characteristic. Weighing at 125 grams, I believe it will be noticeable in your jean pockets when you walk around. The V9 has 2 displays, one on the inside and one on the outside. The inner display is the main display (2.2inches, TFT, 240x320) for navigating around the menus and submenus. The outer display (2 inches, TFT, 240x320) is used to display caller ID and which music track you are listening to. I especially love the touch sensitive strip on the outer display for changing tracks and pausing the music.

Another feature that stood out from the others is that the sound quality is absolutely astonishing! For a thin flip phone, the RAZR V9 definitely excels in the audio aspect. I thought the Sony Ericsson Walkman series were the top players in this field but the RAZR V9 is at the same level, if not better. If the audio output doesn’t impress you then the sound quality from the mic should. Loaded with Crystal Talk technology, the Motorola V9 reduces background noise so the one receiving your voice will hear it load and clear.

The Motorola RAZR V9 can be used anywhere in the world because it is quad band. If you want added speed, you can also take advantage of the 3G network because this phone has got HSDPA. The 2 megapixel camera on this phone should provide adequate pictures in a well lighted area but stay away from poor lighting conditions because of the lack of flash.

To sum it up, I recommend this phone to those who loves entertainment on the run. This includes listening to music, playing video games, and surfing the web with the phone. This phone deserves an 8/10 because the lack of flash really makes the camera unusable during the night time.

Reverse phone lookup websites exist on the Internet for those of us wishing to find both land-line and cellular carrier numbers. All that you need to perform this search is the 10 digit phone number you want information on. You may have used a forward search to obtain the phone number of a friend, relative, co-worker, etc. However, if you were successful in finding their number, you would learn that it belongs to their residential landline, and not their cell phone. Thus, if your intention was to us a forward directory to obtain their wireless number, the reason you did not obtain this information is because it is illegal to give out mobile phone numbers through a forward lookup.
