Nokia 2730 Classic vs LG KP500 Cookie pink

Nokia and LG are two well-known brands that impart quality substance. The main focus of nokia is on affordable and user-friendly handsets whereas LG is a brand that brings the trend of classy and elegant gadgets. Nokia 2730 Classic and LG KP500 Cookie are two implementations of both the manufacturers.

The nokia one is a sleek device with 2.0 inches TFT screen with 5-way navigation key. It can display 256 k colors at the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. On the other hand, Cookie has slightly larger display size with 3.0 inches TFT resistive touch screen that displays 256 K color. It can operate on resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. It also posseses better picture quality camera of 3.15 MP that offers the resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels whereas Nokia 2730 Classic comes with camera of 2 MP that delivers much reduced resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels.

The touchscreen gadget by LG is a 2G phone and weighs around 89 g. It is equipped with features like accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and handwriting recognition for extreme security features. But, 2730 handset is a 2G as well as 3G phone that weighs around 87.7 g. It includes downloadable polyphonic and Mp3 ringtones that enables the user to set their favorite song as ringtone. With this, there is additional 3.5mm audio jack that is used for connection of headphones. Similarly, LG handset is also equipped with downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones and a composer as well. Both are speakerphones and have integrated Stereo FM Radio.

The display screen of LG KP500 Cookie is very large. So, the front panel of the mobile handset is assembled  with three buttons. One to receive the call, other to cancel, along with a menu button that opens the task manager and application. This sophisticated device uses Standard Li-ion 900 mAh battery that gives an average backup. It delivers standby backup up to 350 h and talktime backup up to 3h 30 min. On the other hand,  Nokia 2730 Classic gives commendable battery backup with standby backup up to 396 h (2G) , 408 h (3G) and talktime backup up to 7 h 20 min (2G), 3 h 20 min(3G).

Both the handsets have same phonebook memory that can store up to 1000 phone entries. With respect to internal memory, both differentiate. The classic handset has an internal memory of 30 MB that can expand upto 2 GB by the use of microSD card slot whereas the other one has 48 MB internal memory that is slightly greater . This memory can be expandable upto 16 GB. It supports user with document viewer that enables the viewing of documents in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF format.  Both of them come with organizer and voice memo, and lacks in Wi-Fi and GPS.

On the basis of above analysis, we cannot categorise any of them. If one handset is good on one part, then the other one is also delivering better features. Both the brands are very popular for their quality product. So, there is no chance to give any sort of conclusion on this comparison. Though, the end choice is of user, who is going to buy it.
