The Nokia 5300 cellular phone with XpressMusic offers outstanding features in a sleek slide phone design. Dedicated music keys quick and easy access to songs. Headphones with the new 2.5mm Nokia AV connector can be used for optimal listening enjoyment. In addition users can purchase store up to 1,500 songs using the optional 2GB memory card sold separately.

The Nokia 5300 mobile phone has an integrated 1.3-megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom. The dedicated camera key offers access to ultra fast snapshots. The system also boasts video recorder and video player with landscape mode for horizontal shots. Volume keys also work as zoom control for added convenience.

Messaging services include 1.2 multimedia messaging service (MMS), instant messaging (IM) with Presence and text messaging that supports concatenated SMS, picture messaging reception and SMS distribution list. Users can record voice message and send to compatible devices. Full OMA client provisioning is also integrated into the system.

The Nokia 5300 keeps users connected using Nokia PC Suite with Nokia Connectivity Cable DKE-2 or Bluetooth connectivity. The unit has XHTML browser over TCP/IP, Infrared and SyncML for local and remote synchronization.

Data transfer is quick and reliable using class 10 General Packet Radio Service and HSCSD/CSD for browsing and as data modem. The Nokia 5300 XpressMusic comes equipped with a standard Li-Ion Battery 760 mAh. Users can expect up to 3.2 hours of digital talk time and up to nine days of digital standby.

The 5300 is brimming with fun personalization features including a music player supporting MP3, Midi, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, and WMA formats. The system boasts preloaded Java games and applications and themes including animated wallpapers, screensavers, color schemes and ring tones. Flash Lite 2.0 media player is integrated into the unit.

Organizational tools include an alarm clock, reminders, calendar, notes, calculator, stop watch and countdown timer. The Nokia 5300 XpressMusic features an open slider with convenient spring mechanism for easy one-hand opening. This unit is remarkably compact, sleek and attractive. The Nokia 5300 is a prime choice in today’s cell phones.
