I don't know how to get my boyfriend to see how rude he acts with his cell phone. I've asked him repeatedly to turn his phone off during meals, to not be texting during "our time" in the evening but he always has some excuse of why he needs to be on it - that sending this text can't even wait ten minutes till the end of breakfast. He literally spent from 12:30 pm Saturday texting to his friend Lynn until 10:30pm. We went to the beach and he spent the entire time testing her while I read my book. When we returned for a late dinner he still kept texting. I asked him repeatedly "when will you be done?" and he kept saying "now" but no more than 45 seconds later he was back texting. I finally got fed up after his 3rd "now" and told him I feel like he prefers to text her than to spend time with me.....he just dismisses my feelings as petty jealousy but he does this ALL the time. I feel like his blackberry is permanently attached to his hand. There is never just "our" time anymore because he always has it out talking to everyone but me.
