Nokia 6300 Review - High Quality From Nokia

The Nokia 6300 is another high quality Nokia mobile phones and supports MicroSD cards up to 2 GB, thus allowing you to use this model almost exclusively as an MP3 player. The Nokia 6300 also includes the Nokia PC Suite that will allow you to convert all of the MP3 files within a music library into e-AAC format to allow the inclusion of more MP3 files on the memory card. On the downside, the 2.5 mm headphone jack limits the number of commercial headsets that will fit the phone; however, the Nokia Stereo Headset model HS-81 is a good replacement for the headset that comes with the Nokia 6300 because it has a much better bass sound quality.

Like the majority of the new Nokia phones, the 6300 uses a mini-USB connector instead of the pop port that is used by older models. It is necessary to remove of the back of the phone in order to make it easier to remove the cover to the connector. An excellent feature on this phone is the inclusion an indicator light for missed calls or messages. The phone also includes a 2 megapixel camera with 8x zoom capabilities and streaming video. Some versions of the Nokia 6300 also offer push to talk options, perhaps depending upon the carrier for whom the phone is designed.

The Nokia 6300 is not a flip phone or a slider phone, so if you are used to those body styles, you will find this one a bit different. One of the nice features on the 6300 is that you can utilize video clips as ringtones instead of the pre-installed ringtones or custom downloaded ringtones. The choices you have available with this model are quite extensive though depending on your carrier you may not be able to utilize ringtones that are in MP3 format. You may have to convert them to a different format or use third party software to remove the carrier's block.

Before you make a final decision about the Nokia 6300, it's a good idea to read at least one Nokia 6300 review to get a feel what another user thinks of the phone and its capabilities. Based on the quality that is in each Nokia phone, it is unlikely you will find any problems in that respect, but you may want to get a feel of the phone's capabilities. You want to have the information before you're ready to buy so that you can look for mobile phone deals that allow you to obtain the phone below the average retail cost.

The Nokia 6300 also includes an FM stereo radio for those who like to listen to radio rather than music files. You will find the radio production to be of very high quality on this phone, making it easy to listen to the radio or the music files at any given moment. For those who have never used a Nokia mobile phone before, you will not want to use any other brand after you begin using this one.
