Nokia 6500 Classic Bronze Joins the Nokia 6500 Classic Range

Nokia have now launched a second version of their popular Nokia 6500 Classic handset, introducing the new Nokia 6500 Classic Bronze edition.
This new addition to the Classic range offers exactly the same great design, features and technology as the priginal 6500 Classic but now with a new bronze coloured exterior casing.

There was some confusion surrounding this new model as many bloggers and forum users were under the impression that this new model was to be called the Nokia 6500 Classic Gold, however the first UK network to launch this model, 3 Mobile published the model name as being Bronze.

Speculation did not stop there because 3 Mobile are renowned for changing model names when launching new products on their network, a typical example of this is the LG KU990 Viewty which they decided to rename as the LG U990 for their own purposes.

Eventually, the new Nokia 6500 Classic Bronze was released on further networks including O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile who all followed suit and stuck with bronze as the colour name.

That cleared up, lets take a look at what this new model has to offer, living up to its name with a classic candybar design, the Nokia 6500 Classic Bronze is made up of a seamless anodized aluminium casing which houses an impressive specification list that will meet both business and personal needs.

The Bronze Nokia 6500 Classic is a 3G enabled handset that offers UMTS support and EDGE Technology on top of the standard GPRS, Bluetooth and USB connectivity options.

This allows for fast data transfer speeds, reliable connections and easy PC synchronisation.

Whilst the built-in MP3 Player which additionally supports AAC audio file formats will provide you with all the entertainment you will need and the on board 2.0 mega pixel camera with video capture & playback allows you to snap picture and record short video clips that can then be shared amongst friends and family to be enjoyed and treasured.

Whether you prefer browsing online content, catching up with friends via instant messaging or keeping in touch with the office with Email, the Nokia 6500 Classic Bronze has it covered.

The new bronze model is available now on most UK networks, however due to the lack of a secondary camera this model will not facilitate video calling. The Bronze Nokia 6500 does offer 3G services with fast download and access to online information and entertainment but users who connect ot the dedicated 3G network, 3 Mobile will not be able to make or recieve any face to face video calls.
