Another feature of the Nokia N73 is that applications like Java as well as Symbian particularly S60 release 3 applications can be fitted in to or can be removed from the phone by the user. Adding of these software and removing can be done by the users with the help of the Nokia PC Suite software. The Nokia PC Suite software comes included with the phone, or with the installer application on the phone itself.

Coming to the connectivity feature of the phone; the N73 supports Bluetooth and USB Mass Storage and other methods. Having these facilities users of the phone can transfer or transmit large collections of files to and from it; this is being done by any computers which are compatible to either Bluetooth or mass storage via USB.

After the successful launch of the Nokia N73 model, Nokia also launched its N73 'Music Edition'. It is worth to mention that the Nokia N73 model share the same technical specifications as that of the Nokia N73.
