Nokia N95 - Frame by Frame

If you are to believe numbers, the Nokia N95 is the top of the N series line up. The N series itself had made quite a name for itself within a very shot span of their existence. With their superior multimedia and connectivity tools, the N series truly are third generation mobile phones. The tag of being the top dog of such a reputable family automatically builds up a lot of expectation. With its list of uncompromising feature, the Nokia N95 is largely successful in living up to it. The Nokia N95 is essentially a Symbian OS operated 3G smart phone that uses S60 software platform. This unique slider has two way sliding action – the conventional upward slide that reveals the numeric pad and a surprising downward sliding action to reveal the music keys.

The Nokia phones 2.6 inch TFT display that delivers more than 16 million colours too changes into landscape mode to a wide screen viewing experience on the Nokia N95. Camera module of the Nokia N95 is 5.0 mega pixel which is comparable to any digital camera available today. Each high resolution picture is powered by the clarity provided by Carl Zeiss optics and useful features like auto focus, flash and zoom. Video recording with greater detailing is another imaging aspect of the Nokia N95.

The Nokia N95 supports HSDPA other than quad band GSM networks. A specialized digital camera lets you take part in a video call across 3G network. Other means of data connectivity includes Class 32 EDGE and GPRS, WiFI, UPnP technology, Blue tooth v2.0, Infrared and USB 2.0. The device has a built in GPS Navigation system and a neat map application covering over hundred countries. A media player that supports all popular audio and video file formats, Blue tooth wireless stereo headset profile, 3.5 mm audio jack, built in speakers, stereo FM radio, a huge memory pool of 160 Mb and an expandable memory card slot makes the Nokia phones N95 a big name even in the music phone category.
