This latest LG phone has now been joined by the new LG Arena Black edition, for further details please visit our mobile phones website.
The latest touch screen phone from LG has now been made available on the O2 network, the LG Arena is similar but smaller than the previous LG Renoir model but more importantly features the manufacturers new 3D user interface.
The O2 LG Arena follows onn from the release of this sleek new phone on both Orange and T-Mobile networks, this third launch means there are now more tariffs than ever before to choose from when trying to match your usage requirements to the inclusive minutes nd text on offer.
O2 packages start from just £15 per month and already the LG Arena is being ofefred free on this tariff, to further entice consumers there are a range of free gifts available with the new O2 LG Arena including a free Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, 32" LCD HD Ready TV and even the latest edition of GHD hair straighteners!
The most important thing to remember when buying any new phone on a contract such as O2 is to try and match the number of inclusive free text messages and monthly minutes as closely as possible to your own usage, this way you should keep your costs to a minimum by not usingmore than the monthly allowance and not pay for the extra usage.
The LG Arena finds competition from a couple of other recently launched touch screen phones, namely the Samsung Pixon which features a more advanced camera and from the same manufacturer the LG Renoir although this again features more megapixels to its camera but does weigh in heavier.
The uniqueness of the LG Arena is in its new user interface, you can literally spin a 3D cube on the screen to navigate through the menu system, using your finger to brush either up and down or left and right the cube menu spins on the screen until you find what you are looking for.
It feels far more interactive than the standard menu systems of the Samsung Pixon and LG Renoir where you simply navigate through the menu layers.
Quick Review:
Changes in the world of technology have brought new innovations in the mobiles as well. There are new mobiles buzzing around every nook and corner of the streets, with state-of-the art features incorporated in them. When we talk of LG Arena, it can be said that it is a smart touch screen phone introduced by LG with attractive titanium frame. It has a glossy piping along the edges in order to render it an exclusive appeal. LG has taken the pride to come up with haute couture interface appeal in the mobile, which is nothing, more than envy to the mobiles flocking the market place in this range.
LG Arena comes powered with all new unique S class 3D interfaces, which is the reason why it looks different from all other mobiles available in the market. Thanks to LG’s creative outcome that lets the user to view the options through the zooming 3D cube. The important aspect of 3D cube is that it offers the user with four screens that are easily visible and can also be operated with the touch of a finger. Each face of the cube is large enough to give you seamless access to the shortcuts and icons.
Other than all these, the smart touch screen facility in LG Arena allows the user to select the options available under the special film mode. Here you can browse the options by simply sliding the rows and columns in any direction you want. Similar to the film reeling, the reel-scrolling feature incorporated in the LG Arena’s interface lets the user to easily navigate through the different features, without any lengthy detailed text.
Similar to some of iPhone features, you would not find too many buttons outside. It has a volume control button outside, and that’s it. Though the mobile is light weigh and easy to carry, it truly lacks those very special features of iPhone, and to compare with iPhone again would be asking for too much.
What’s more, this handsome mobile from LG is loaded with yet another laudable option known as Elastic List. As the name suggests, it contains information of all your business contacts as well as detailed information on the catalogs. As you touch it with stylus, it simply expands like a rubber and lets you go through different information. Besides these unique features, the phone has a built-in 5-mega pixels camera, though certainly there is nothing to feel proud on its picture quality and the output.
LG Arena offers the users enormous storage capacity. Yes, with whopping 40 GB you have nothing that you can afford to loose. You can store any number of music files and any number of photos. In this sense it would be great to call it a multimedia featured phone.
LG Arena gives the enjoyment and thrill to the users and since it lies in the price range of an average user, any normal wage earner can procure it. Next time you don’t have to search for a mobile with such advanced features anywhere else. It’d found right at LG.
Launch Info:
Although now available on three networks with this latest O2 launch the LG Arena is expected to be releasedon further networks including a SIM free launch and the all important pay as you go system for those that either do not want the committment of a pay monthly contract or simply cannot pass the network credit checks in order to gain one.
