Samsung released “the world’s slimmest 3 megapixel slider” quad-band mobile phone, it is known as the D900i. Weighing at only 85 grams, this light-weight phone won’t make you feel like you’re carrying a brick in your handbag. Its slimly-ness also makes it less obstructive when in your jean pocket.
But as the saying goes, “don’t judge a book by its cover.” This phone may be light and slim but it still packs a lot of features. The first impressionable thing may be the exceptional 240x320 TFT 2.12 inches screen. Samsung has always been known for their quality LCD monitors and I am willing to bet that the screens on their mobile phones are just as superb.
Right out of the box, the D900i has 60MB of internal memory for you to play with. You may also get a micro SD card to expand its memory so you can store more music, pictures, and other forms of media. To help you use some of that memory on your micro SD card, the D900i’s 3 megapixel camera will take crisp pictures wherever you go. This camera has autofocus and an LED flash to help you capture the moment in a low light environment.
With an 800mAh Lithium-Ion battery, you can talk for more than 3 hours or standby for 250 hours. Bluetooth allows you to easily share your music and pictures with others. The D900i lets you minimize the music player so you can multitask by listening to music and send text messages at the same time.
Overall, I give this phone an 8/10 because its design is simple yet attractive. The 3MP and the outstanding screen are this phone’s strengths but the lack of 3G, HSPDA, and the not-too-solid build quality are its weaknesses.

P is for P1i
By: cellswholesale.com | 07/06/2008 | Cell PhonesMy first impression of this phone was it looked very smart. It makes me feel like my IQ increased by 15 points just by holding it in my hands. When holding this phone, the feel is that it is sturdy and weighted. This is because the build quality is solid and aluminum was used on the outer shell. Inserting text with the P1i wasn’t much of a hassle due to its unique QWERTY keyboard.
