Samsung Sch-u700 Review - a Review of the Samsung Sch-u700 Cell Phone

The Samsung SCH-U700 is a stylish cellular phone with a wide selection of entertaining features. 51MB of pooled user memory and capability for external memory allows the user great freedom in storing movies, music, and other media. The internal 262K TFT color display features a resolution of 240 by 320 pixels, and measures 2.1”. The external 65K TFT color display measures 1.07” and features a resolution of 96 by 96 pixels. The 2 megapixel camera incorporates up to 10x digital zoom and Night Shot for low-light areas.

The Samsung SCH-U700 also includes a digital music player, which incorporates a music library. The phone can be set to use a 72-note poly ringtone or an MP3. At 3.88” high and 0.55” thick, the Samsung SCH-U700 is an easy handful. The phone measures 1.91” wide and weighs 3.35 oz.

The Samsung SCH-U700’s flip design protects the phone’s internal display as well as the key pad without limiting its features. These include speakerphone, voice recognition, call cost/call time, multiparty capability, and SMS messaging. The phone is also equipped for email, instant messaging and vCard/vCalendar. Voice memo/voicemail is included on the phone, and internet browsing is supported by WAP 2.0. The phone is capable of mobile printing and offline mode - both useful features for a busy professional.

The Samsung SCH-U700 operates on digital-only EVDO and CDMA 1x EVDO: 800, 1900 MHz. Bluetooth and USB are both supported. The phone comes with embedded time-interactive wallpaper. On a standard battery, users can talk for up to 3.5 hours and the phone can stand by for up to 250 hours. On a long-life battery, users can talk for up to 5 hours and the phone can stand by for up to 350 hours.

The Samsung SCH-U700 includes a video player and video recording capability. Video messaging and video streaming also come standard on this cell phone.

The Samsung SCH-U700 combines the best aspects of a business phone and an entertainment system, and busy career people will surely enjoy the mix.
